i had a really solid experience with Jack’s Diving Locker. i had a few questions before I booked, and they got back to me quickly with answers that actually made sense.

there wasn’t any confusing info or endless back and forth. they told me what to bring, where to go, and exactly when to show up.

it made the whole thing feel easy and low-stress. i’d definitely use them again.

I went out with Jack’s Diving Locker in Kona and overall had a good time. The guides definitely knew what they were doing, and I felt safe the whole dive, which was the main thing for me. That said, I’d heard from a couple people that things could be a little hit or miss, and yeah, the slow check-in and slightly worn gear kind of confirmed that for me. Nothing was terrible by any means, and the dive itself was solid, but for the price I was expecting the whole experience to feel a bit more polished.

I did have to reread the schedule details a couple times to make sure I had everything right, but my confirmation email came through quickly. All in all, it was a good booking experience with no major problems...

Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. The dive crew had the gear set up on time, gave clear briefings before each dive, and kept the schedule moving without making anything feel rushed. I really appreciated how organized the boat setup was too, tanks, fins, and masks were all easy to find, so there was zero stress getting in the water.

The boat leave right on time, and check-in was super easy. We didn’t have to stand around waiting, which was nice. Good experience overall.

The gear felt way more worn out than I expected. I picked it up and immediately thought, wow, has this thing been through ten lifetimes? It still existed, sure, but it definitely gave off major tired, overused vibes

I booked this trip because I thought they would be more ocean focused. The dive itself was fine. I had a good time in the water. But I did not hear much about reef rules. It was mostly just the usual “don’t touch anything.”

I also noticed a lot of single-use cups and snacks on the boat. I did not see any clear recycling setup either. Maybe they do more behind the scenes. But as a customer, it felt minimal.

I got the feeling they’ve probably dealt with a lot of nervous first-timers like me, because they seemed to know exactly how to keep people calm. I felt safe the entire time and would definitely go again.

The customer service was okay overall. They were helpful once they got back to me, but the response time was slow. I feel like it used to be better before, so this was a little disappointing

the boat had tons of room and the seats were actually really comfy. the ride was smooth too, which made the whole dive day feel a lot easier and more relaxed

Went out with Jack's Diving Locker and had such a great time. We saw turtles, so many colorful fish, a manta just cruising by, and even dolphins from the boat... it was kind of unreal. The crew was super chill and helpful, and I felt safe the whole time.

We booked the manta ray night snorkel with Jack’s Diving Locker and it was sooo cool. Check-in was super easy, and the crew was really chill but still made everyone feel safe, even with it being dark out. The mantas came right up under us, like crazy close, it didn’t even feel real. Gear was all good and the boat ride was smooth too. I’d 100% do this again if we make it back to Kona.

I really enjoyed the dive sites here. The water was super clear, and the spots were genuinely beautiful. Definitely glad I went.

We went as a family with little kids, and it just didn’t feel like they were really considered much. The kids seemed kind of overlooked the whole time, and I got the impression this place maybe caters more to adults or older travelers, though I could be wrong. Not the worst experience, but I probably wouldn’t choose it again for a trip with young kids.

Overall, this was a really enjoyable snorkel trip. The crew was great—friendly, professional, and made everyone feel comfortable. We got to see turtles, which was definitely the highlight for me. The only downside was that it felt a little crowded and slightly rushed at times, but I still had a fun experience and would recommend it.
